BIPP / Domestic Violence Assessor (LMSW)

Location: Texas (In Person)

Employment Type: Part-time

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced BIPP/Domestic Violence Assessor to join our team.
This critical role involves evaluating individuals involved in domestic violence cases and preparing
clients for group intervention programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child
welfare, social work, and family dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals involved in domestic violence situations, including victims and perpetrators
  • Evaluate risk factors related to child protective services, family law, and behavioral health
  • Document assessment findings accurately and in compliance with agency standards
  • Participate in ongoing training on child welfare, crisis management, and behavioral health best practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience working with Child Protective Services or in a child welfare setting (preferred)
  • Experience working with children and families in domestic violence or crisis situations (required)
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict management, and behavioral health
  • Background in social work, family law, childcare, or related fields
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and child welfare systems

Required Credentials

  • Currently licensed LMSW in the state of Texas
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle

Work Environment

This is an in-person position.
